# Why a Spotify episode transcript may fail to resolve

Verbafy does not browse Spotify shows. It looks up a canonical episode link against public RSS. That lookup can fail.

## Common causes

- The URL is a show, playlist, or Apple Podcasts link, not an episode link.
- The episode has no confident public RSS match.
- The publisher renamed, delayed, or geo-restricted the RSS item.

## What to try

1. Confirm the link looks like `open.spotify.com/episode/...`.
2. Retry later if the episode is newly published.
3. If you have the audio file, upload it as a private recording instead.
