# How to transcribe a meeting recording

Verbafy transcribes recordings that already exist. It does not join Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet.

## Export the recording

Use the meeting product to download the audio or video after the call. Keep a file in a supported format: MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, Opus, MP4, MOV, or MKV.

## Upload and review

1. Open [the app](/app).
2. Upload the file.
3. Wait for speaker labels and timestamps.
4. Play the original moment before you treat a sentence as a decision.
