# Meeting to text

Upload an existing meeting recording and turn it into reviewable text. Meeting Recording Transcription starts after the meeting. Verbafy does not join, record, or live-transcribe Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calls.

## Turn a meeting recording into text

1. Export the recording from Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or a local recorder.
2. Upload the file in [the app](/app).
3. Wait for the Transcript.
4. Check claims against timestamped playback, then export.

## Supported audio and video formats

Private uploads support MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, Opus, MP4, MOV, and MKV. Files can be up to 10 GB.

## Uploading Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet recordings

Export the file from the meeting product first. Then upload it. Verbafy does not connect to calendars or send a meeting bot.

## Speaker separation and inferred names

Speakers are separated. Names are AI-inferred when identifiable. Similar voices and crosstalk can cause errors.

## Review claims against timestamped playback

Open a segment to hear the original moment. Use this path to verify decisions and quotes.

## Ask the meeting recording with citations

Cited Chat is available after indexing completes. Full Library Search is **SOON**.

## Export transcript and subtitle files

Download TXT, Markdown, JSON, SRT, VTT, or ZIP.

## Private media

Uploads stay private. This is not local, offline, or end-to-end encrypted transcription. See [privacy](/privacy).

## Verbafy versus live meeting bots

## Accuracy
